Prerequisites

• A ClickUp workspace with Chat enabled.
• Permission to create or manage webhooks for a Chat channel.

1. Create a ClickUp Chat webhook URL

1. Open ClickUp and go to the Chat channel where you want incident notifications.
2. In channel settings, create an incoming webhook/integration URL.
3. Copy the webhook URL.

2. Add the integration

1. Navigate to Integrations → New Integration.
2. Select ClickUp.
3. Fill in:

Field	Value
Name	e.g. ClickUp Incident Alerts
Webhook URL	Your ClickUp Chat webhook URL

4. Enable trigger events and click Save.

3. Test

Click the Test icon. A test incident message should appear in your ClickUp Chat channel.

What gets sent

Each event sends a chat message that includes:

• Incident title and status
• Event type (incident.created, incident.resolved, incident.updated)
• Workspace and Monitor details
• Incident and workspace links

Security

• Treat webhook URLs as secrets.
• Rotate the webhook URL if it is exposed.
• Limit integration management to Workspace Owner/Admin roles.
