Discord

Prerequisites

• A Discord server where you have Manage Webhooks permission.

1. Create a Discord webhook

1. Open your Discord server → right-click the target channel → Edit Channel.
2. Go to Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook.
3. Name it (e.g. isthisthing.online) and click Copy Webhook URL.

The URL looks like:

https://discord.com/api/webhooks/1234567890/abcdefg...

2. Add the integration

1. Navigate to Integrations → New Integration.
2. Select Discord.
3. Fill in:

Field	Value
Name	e.g. Discord #ops
Webhook URL	The URL from step 1

4. Enable trigger events and click Save.

3. Test

Click the Test icon. An embed message should appear in the Discord channel.

Message format

Discord messages are sent as Embed objects and include:

• Incident title and description
• Event type, status, and monitor name as inline fields
• Timestamp

Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
No message	Confirm the webhook is still active in Discord channel settings.
401 or 404	The webhook was deleted. Create a new one and update the URL.
